Khloé Kardashian on Tristan Thompson Paternity Scandal: "It's a Joke, It's Embarrassing"

Khloé Kardashian put an end to her relationship with Tristan Thompson for good on the latest episode of Hulu's The Kardashians.
In the season 1 finale, which was filmed in December 2021, the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan found out about the NBA star's paternity scandal—when he admitted to having had relations with Houston-based personal trainer Maralee Nichols. (Since the episode filmed, Tristan has admitted the child, a son, is, in fact, his, though Nichols claims he is not involved in parenting him.)
In court documents released by Daily Mail and read by Kim Kardashian on the show, Tristan—who shares daughter True Thompson with Khloé—admitted to having seen Nichols various times between December 2020 and March 13, 2021, while he was still in a relationship with Khloé. He also admitted to sleeping with her on his 30th birthday, after he flew from Los Angeles—where Khloé had thrown his a birthday party—back to Houston, where his team, the Sacramento Kings, is based.
Kim was the first to learn of the scandal and was the one who called sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner before revealing the news to Khloé.
"What? What the f*ck is this?" the Good American founder—who at that time was working on reconciling with Tristan following his previous cheating scandals—said.
"So, he's been lying to you. Did you know about this?" Kim asked. Khloé responded, "No. What the f*ck? 'This cannot be happening."
Kim explained to Khloé that the personal trainer sued Tristan and his attorneys went on record to give his statement, in which he admitted to every detail of the affair. She said he probably never thought it would be leaked.
Kim said she texted Tristan but did not hear back, at which point Khloé asked her to send her the declaration.
"I need to f*cking see the screen shot," she said. "Let me f*cking call him, I can't f*cking believe this."
Kim then noted, "But if this isn't the biggest sign for you to not have another baby with this human being..."
She added in confession, "When someone hurts someone that you love you get protective, and my heart is breaking for Khloé because i know that she was really trying and I know that he was really trying and then this happens and it's like, dude, what the f*ck."
Khloé was then heard sobbing over the phone in disbelief.
"Everything is going to be OK no matter what. You know we really believed that he had changed... I was his biggest supporter, but if this isn't more clear... the most clear situation... I don't know what is," Kim told her before asking the cameras to stop rolling.
The episode wrapped up with Kim and Khloé chatting before their Hulu photoshoot. There, the mom of one said she finally confronted Tristan. "I called him and was just like, what have you got to say? It was more yelling on my end, but him talking, trying to plead his case. There's not much to talk about in my opinion," she said.
"It's a joke, it's gross, it's a joke, it's embarrassing, it's disgusting, we're all over it. I'm like, I didn't buy tickets to this f*cking circus but somehow I'm watching all these clowns act out in front of me," Khloé added.
Kim noted how "sad" it was that after going to therapy to try to change, Tristan was just doing the same thing all over again.
"I know, it is sad... like, wow you really just f*cked up your life," Khloé said. Kim added, "If that were me and I was really trying to redeem myself and I was trying to be a better person, I would definitely just keep my dick in my pants."
"You would think," Khloé responded. "You either wear a condom, get a vasectomy or you don't f*ck random people that you meet in other states. It's not like rocket science."
Kim said in confession that the hardest part of all of this for Khloé will be losing her best friend.
"Tristan is her best friend, was her best friend and she's going to miss her best friend and the thought and the hope of them coming together and it's going to be an adjustment, especially when you have kids and you have no choice but to take the high road even if it kills you," she said.
Khloé said it was "such a disappointment" to learn of Tristan's latest cheating scandal, but at the end of the day, she said it brought her clarity.
There are "no blurred lines" anymore, she said. "Also I feel vindicated in a way... because I kept saying, 'You guys something's not right here,' and everyone kept saying, 'No it's because you're so damaged from before.'"
Kim agreed. "Everyone has a lesson and this one unfortunately cost him his family," she said.
"One day, I will have the fairy tale that I hope to have," Khloé said.
