Khloé Kardashian announced that the Kardashians have canceled their annual Christmas party for the first time in 42 (!!) years.
Despite this being the correct decision, Khloe's still getting some flack due to her family's previous pandemic partying.
Welp, looks like the Kardashians have made the responsible decision to officially cancel their annual Christmas Eve party due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Khloé Kardashian is the one who confirmed this news to fans, writing, "The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA. So we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year. It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978 I believe. Health and safety first though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must."

While this is clearly a positive and safe choice for everyone involved, some of Khloé's followers are pointing out the change of tune considering Kim Kardashian just took a fleet of her best friends to a private island for her 40th while Kendall Jenner threw herself a celeb-packed birthday Halloween party—two mid-pandemic events that were met with a huge amount of backlash from fans.
I'm not a Kardashian hater. They've built successful careers & are beautiful women. They just aren't my thing. That said, since when have they been taking this seriously? They've been called out multiple times for ignoring CA's restrictions. The backlash finally get to them? 🤦
