Khloé and Tristan Are Hanging By a Thread
For the last couple days, People, Entertainment Tonight, and more tabloids have run variations of reports that Khloé Kardashian has basically forgiven her boyfriend Tristan Thompson after his cheating scandal and is just focused on their daughter, baby True Thompson. Kardashian's first Instagram since the scandal and giving birth suggested the two were united, given her use of "we" and "our" throughout her caption. "Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE," she wrote. "Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!"
But this is just a facade, TMZ is reporting. Sources familiar with the situation told the outlet that in reality, "Khloé has not spoken to Tristan for several days because she's still furious after finding out he repeatedly cheated on her, and embarrassed her in the process."
Their relationship is "in shambles" and "hanging by a thread." Kardashian, despite People's report last week, is actually "no where near forgiving Tristan." The rest of the family including Kardashian's brother Rob are livid, too. The only reason that Kardashian is at Thompson's house in Cleveland at all is because all the baby gear is there, and she hasn't been medically cleared to fly back to Los Angeles with her baby yet.
Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner remains by her side and Kardashian's sisters Kendall Jenner, Kim, and Kourtney just flew into Cleveland yesterday to support her after Kardashian had an emotional breakdown, per TMZ. Kardashian and Thompson haven't been alone since she was released from the hospital, the outlet also added.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight and People are reporting that Thompson and Kardashian are in a much more hopeful place than TMZ is.
People's source said yesterday: “Khloé really wants to be able to forgive and trust Tristan again and have the life she hoped to have with him. She doesn’t know if she’ll be able to do that, but that’s the goal. She loves the life they had, she loves the baby they have together, and she still loves the dream of being a family together. If she can find a way to rebuild with Tristan, she will, [but it] still remains to be seen [whether that’s possible]."
Entertainment Tonight's source said: “Khloe and Tristan are currently very much still together and living together and there is currently no plans for that to change. They’re both there for their daughter. [She] is madly in love with him, he’s her world. Khloe is a romantic through and through. She is the kindest, sweetest, most loving person who did not deserve this… Khloe’s chosen to forgive him [Tristan] and she expects everyone else to move on too.”
