Khloé Kardashian Spent Saturday Helping Firefighters After Evacuating Her House

Khloé Kardashian is one of many Californians who have had to evacuate their homes due to the raging wildfires currently hitting the state. The Woolsey fire, which has been driving residents from their homes in the Malibu area, is particularly bad as firefighters still struggle to control the blaze. On Saturday, the day after Kardashian tweeted about leaving "with the clothes on her back" (as well as "True's entire bedroom and closet"), she put up an Instagram story that showed how she was giving back to the firefighters.

"Hey everyone, so I am at the CVS in The Commons, because I had to get a couple things at the house," she says in the videoed Stories, wearing a smoke mask and sunglasses. "I'm gonna post this request that the fire department needs, and whoever can help can drop off what they can. Every little bit helps. Here at the CVS I basically bought everything they had in stock besides...I got as many waters as I could, but they still have waters here. But if you guys can drop off whatever you can, I know the brave men and women that are working so hard, tirelessly, for all of us would greatly appreciate it. Please just do whatever you can, even if one bottle of water, one container of eyedrops, one granola bar, anything. I love everyone; stay safe; and God bless."

She also posted the list of supplies that firefighters are asking for:

She came back with an update later, again posted via video Story: "I just dropped off in Calabasas—across the street from The Commons there's a donation center set up that are accepting donations of any sort. I know that anything goes a long way for the men and women who are so bravely fighting for all of us and risk their lives. It is getting a little scarier out here—it looks like things are picking up again, which is scary, but everyone's still safe and, you know, this just reminds you of what's important."

According to Kris Jenner's Twitter, Khloé's efforts kicked off after Kylie Jenner sent a group text to the family that laid out what firefighting crews are desperately in need of as they combat the the quickly spreading fires.

"After @kyliejenner sent this on our family group text @khloekardashian ran to the pharmacy to shop for the Firefighters... such a huge heart Bunny!! 😎 Let’s take care of our guys! Thank you to all of the men and women fighting these fires and risking their lives!! #grateful," the proud mom wrote.

Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé each also put out a call on Twitter for donations to the California Fire Foundation. "Thankful for the @CAFirefighters risking their lives and getting people to safety during these horrendous wildfires," Kourtney wrote. "Show your support and donate to @CAFireFound at http://cafirefoundation.org #CampFire #HillFire #WoolseyFire"

Bella Hadid also put up an emotional post on Saturday about its destruction, and listed resources for evacuating animals.

If you are able to help, you can make a donation to the Hill Fire/Woolsey Fire Sudden and Urgent Needs Effort Fund or the Red Cross.
