Khloé Kardashian Just Cut Her Hair Into a Chic Blunt Bob

The bob trend continues.

Lobs have officially taken over Hollywood: Khloé Kardashian is the latest celeb to hop on this summer's short-hair trend.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star debuted a new look on Instagram on Thursday, care of longtime stylist Justine Marjan. She chopped her long blonde hair into a blunt bob. She kept her blonde balayage intact, and despite the fact that her color didn't actually change (at least as far as we can tell), the cut makes her strands somehow look lighter than ever — proof that a fresh cut really can change up your entire look.

“'Not smiling makes me smile' Kanye," Kardashian captioned the photo of her big reveal. In it, she's paired her new cut with neutral makeup (including a pinky nude lip with heavy liner,) a look created by artist Ashley K. Holm. Marjan shared the same shot to her own feed, writing, "Guess who’s back baby!!!" and characterized the style as a "#bluntcutbob" (though, as the style seems to be shoulder-skimming, it could also technically be called a lob).

This isn't the first time Khlo has gone blunt with her bob; around this time last year, she let Jen Atkin cut her hair into a similar style, which apparently took some major convincing. "If anyone knows our love affair it took years to get Kardashian to go short and now look at her!!" the stylist wrote in a photo of Kardashian from August 2017. "Owning her beauty and changing it up! My little girl is all grown up!"

As mentioned, there seems to be some sort of short-hair movement happening among the A-list set. Earlier today, Rihanna revealed that she, too, had cut her hair into a chin-length bob, and last week Alicia Keys showed off an even shorter look. Celebs like Jessica Chastain, Emma Roberts, and Lucy Hale are also all members of the Hollywood bob gang, leaving us wondering, who's next?
