Khloé Kardashian has come under fire yet again – although this time, it isn’t for over-editing her pictures or seemingly going too far with the alleged plastic surgery procedures, it’s actually for her wardrobe!

The 38-year-old Good American founder has been slammed on social media for wearing a T-shirt with a very controversial slogan on it. The T-shirt features a cartoon of older sister Kim Kardashian, and a controversial phrase she said in an interview last year. Although the T-shirt was clearly made and worn in jest, her fans did *not* find it funny or even appropriate given the current state of the world and the cost of living crisis!

Khloé Kardashian Wears T-Shirt With Controversial Kim Kardashian Slogan

On May 19th, the mom-two took to her Instagram to share a two-image carousel of herself holding her son Tatum, whose name she confirmed during the season 3 premiere of The Kardashians which dropped on May 25th on Hulu. In the pictures, Khloé is wearing blue ripped jeans, and a white T-shirt with Kim's face on, with the now infamous and highly-controversial slogan: "Get your [expletive] up and work!" She captioned it: "In my best Kim K voice."

Kim's comment, which she made in an interview with Variety back in March 2022 after being asked to give people advice about success, caused a huge stir at the time. She did tell ABC's Robin Roberts that her comments were taken out of context, but it doesn’t seem like fans have forgiven her for them.

While the Kardashian family may have put Kim's interview behind them to the point of now being able to make a joke about it, Khloé’s fans wanted to let her know that they didn’t feel the same way, calling the move "tone deaf," "insensitive" and "out of touch" among other things.

Some Kardashian moments such as Kourtney Kardashian's infamous 2011 comment, "Kim, there's people that are dying," which she delivered after Kim lost one of her diamond earrings after then-boyfriend Kris Humphries threw her in the sea, was one of them. Kendall Jenner's viral cucumber slicing technique is also up there in the Kardashian/Jenner hall of fame. But Kim's comment about work is definitely not up there, and is still just as offensive to the internet as it was over a year ago.

Fans Slam Khloé Kardashian On Instagram

"This was not the 'iconic' moment y’all think it was," one fan commented, while another asked, "Why would you bring this shirt out of the closet?" "Oooofff say it with me, 'tone deaf,'" another fan commented, which many others alco echoed with their own comments.

Many others took to the comments section to tell Khloé about their own financial struggles, asking for her and her famous family to "remain humble," despite all of their success. "Koko I’m working 2 jobs, 60+ hours a week, and still barely making it," commented one fan. "You're so out of touch. Most of us work harder than you would ever be able to handle," criticized another. Many others called out the fact that Khloé and her sisters had a better start in life than most, with one saying, "They're out of touch, silver spooners from the beginning." "It’s easy to say get your [expletive] up and work when you start out with an inheritance of 5 million left by Daddy!" another user exclaimed. Another added: "Starting out in the dugout is a lil harder than starting out on 3rd Base!!! Let that soak in! Tone deaf!"
