Khloé Kardashian Is Being Attacked by Trolls for Her Recent Selfie

These days, keeping up with the Kardashians (and Jenners) is fairly easy. It's keeping up with their haters that takes time because they tend to call out the reality stars for everything from how they parent, to their business ventures, to their selfies.

Khloé Kardashian is the latest sister to be a victim of online hate after a selfie she posted received a deluge of comments accusing her of Photoshopping or otherwise digitally altering her face. The selfie in question shows a blonde Kardashian sporting a high ponytail, strapless top, and rosy lips while gazing deeply into the camera. "Old photo but I like it," the star captioned the image. However, her followers swiftly began picking the picture apart, claiming her face looks unrecognizable.

The amount of backlash got so significant that Khloé eventually disabled comments on her picture, but as Cosmo pointed out, that didn't exactly shut down the vitriol. Since people could no longer comment on Instagram, they took to Twitter to share their not-so-kind thoughts about her recent picture.

"Khloe Kardashian literally looks CGI in this," one person tweeted." Another added: "Why photoshop yourself that you’re not even recognizable."

Of course, this isn't the first time Khloé has been accused of Photoshopping her photos. In April, she responded to people who criticized her eyes of looking "pulled back too much," whatever that means. "Now my eyes are pulled back? Lol," she wrote at the time. "Oh man… you guys are really reaching. But sure, whatever you want to believe."

It's worth noting that she has owned up to editing before. In May, after getting called out for editing a picture of her abs, the reality star admitted to Photoshopping the picture to just make her legs look similar in size. She later posted the unedited photo as well. The Internet has also often speculated that Khloé has gotten plastic surgery on her nose, but she has maintained that this is untrue, saying it's often her contour that changes the appearance of her face.

"So one of my favorite things is nose contour. But this does stress me out a little bit," she said in a Vogue video. "In person and how cameras reflect and light, everything looks different. So sometimes I will contour my nose and in real life I think I look so good and then in some photos I look crazy!"

While it's great Khloé is willing to be so open with the public about her makeup routine or use of Photoshop, it's also not necessary. She should be allowed the same agency over her body and her choices as anyone else in regard to plastic surgery or photo-editing.
