Khloé Kardashian’s Baby’s Name Is Loaded With Family History
Khloé Kardashian recently welcomed her first child, a daughter, with NBA star Tristan Thompson. On Monday, the KUWTK star revealed that she named her baby girl True Thompson, and now momager Kris Jenner has explained the meaning behind the unique moniker.
“I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!!” Jenner wrote on social media, sharing a photo of what appears to be pink balloons filling little True’s new nursery. “Fun fact,” she continued, “my grandfather’s name on my dad’s side was True Otis Houghton, [and] my real dad’s name was Robert True Houghton. So I am so excited Khloé named her daughter True!!!”
Baby True joins the other most recent additions to the Kardashian-Jenner family in having a unique name: Kim Kardashian West welcomed her third child, a girl named Chicago, in January, and Kylie Jenner gave birth to a little girl she named Stormi just a little over two months ago.
Khloé’s family couldn’t contain their excitement following True’s arrival, taking to social media with congratulations, thanks, and, in Kim’s case, a proclamation that the little girl was “so gorgeous.” So far, Khloé hasn’t shared any sneak peeks at her daughter, but she did take to social media to celebrate her arrival.
“Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE,” she wrote. “Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!”
