For some reason, mashing up two foods is a surefire way to get people's attention, as we've learned from pizza burgers, cotton candy tacos, and donut sushi. Usually, the food leans toward one of the descriptors, but in KFC Japan's case, the Chicken Slider Taco is pretty much exactly what it sounds like.

Per Brand Eating, the Japanese menu now includes a limited-time "taco-like" chicken slider. It looks like your average fast food taco with a soft tortilla shell, taco meat, special mayo sauce (ok, that's different), and three kinds of cheese: gouda, cheddar, and mozzarella. And since it's KFC we're talking about, a chicken tender gets added on top.

Personally, I feel like you could do with one or the other, meat-wise. Arby's fans clearly love combining a bunch of meats, though, so maybe it works! You'll have to head to Japan to find out. There, you can buy a taco for 300 yen, or about $2.71. For an extra $2, you can get a combo with a biscuit and a drink.

In other news, while looking at KFC Japan's Instagram I noticed they serve their biscuits with holes in the center, donut-style. And per their English menu, you can get 'em in a honey maple flavor. I'm not totally sure the point of the holed biscuit but considering the very strong reactions people had to those sliced bagels, I'm curious what you think. Go!
