This is not a drill: Kentucky Fried Chicken brought back its two for $3 Chicken Littles Sandwiches promotion at participating locations nationwide. You guys, that’s two sandwiches for just three bucks. I may sound like an infomercial right now, but c’mon—that’s an insane bargain.

The fast food chain announced its finger lickin’ good deal on Twitter last night, noting that customers can choose from four drool-worthy flavors: Smoky Mountain BBQ, Extra Crispy, Nashville Hot, and Georgia Gold.

Crispy tenders. Sesame seed bun. Mayo. Pickles. It sounds incredible if you ask me.

Now, this may come as a surprise, but the fan-favorite cuisine wasn’t always a mainstay on the KFC menu. Chicken Littles Sandwiches were initially a promotion, but fans threw a totally age-appropriate tantrum when the chain discontinued the meal more than two decades ago.

KFC headquarters received an abundance of complaints, angry phone calls, and multiple petitions from Chicken Littles loving customers complaining about the sandwiches’ disappearance. Thankfully, the Chicken Littles Sandwiches returned to the menu permanently in 2012—and with additional flavors in recent years.

KFC is definitely known for some interesting—albeit delicious—food combinations. This past March, the Kentucky based company re-launched its Fried Chicken and Waffles (which originally debuted in 2018) for a limited time. They’ve also partnered with Cheetos on a chicken sandwich and dabbled in the Chicken Tender Taco territory. I, for one, can’t wait to see what’s next.
