Kevin From "The Office" Finally Shared His Chili Recipe…Just Make Sure You Don’t Drop It On The Floor
If you're a person of certain age, you're probably pretty fluent in quotes and moments from The Office. For instance, you can do "The Scarn" with the best of them, you wouldn't be confused if someone said "bears, beets, and Battlestar Galactica" to you, and you of course know the infamous scene where Kevin drops his chili all over the office's floor. Well now, the actor behind that iconic role is taking back his chili crown.
Actor Brian Baumgartner has teamed up with Bush's Beans and shared his secret to making the best chili. Like Kevin on the show, Brian has a knack for making chili in a giant, silver pot.
"I love making chili—I really do. I consider it art. A little sweet, a little spicy...perfection," he said in a press release: "I only use Bush's Chili Beans, too. They simmer the beans before they even go in the can with these amazing spices and sauce, so you get that cooked-all-day flavor without having to wait all day."
Thankfully, it seems that Brian is a lot more skilled than his iconic character and keeps his chili contained in pots and bowls. As an added bonus, Brian shared a delicious recipe for his favorite chili over on Bush's website. It includes lots of Bush's Beans (duh!), as well as "green peppies," and is topped with shredded cheddar cheese.
Seems like the perfect thing to enjoy while you're curled up this weekend binging The Office for the millionth time and ignoring that serious prestige drama television all your friends keep talking about. I see you!
