Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz to Recap “Glee” on Their “Showmance” Podcast

Nearly five years since Glee came off the air, two of its main cast members are planning to bring the musical series back into our lives in podcast form!

According to Entertainment Weekly, former Glee stars Kevin McHale (who played Artie) and Jenna Ushkowitz (who played Tina) are teaming up to launch a Glee-themed podcast on January 16. The podcast — named Showmance: The Glee Recap — is the second installment of their Showmance series. But according to EW, Glee was mentioned so frequently the first time around, that they decided to focus entirely on the former Fox series for the next chapter, and plan to recap the entire first season in depth.

As Jenna told EW: "Throughout the season, it just felt like all of it was Glee love. Our...fans followed our careers after Glee, and our listeners just wanted more Glee, so we decided to give them what they were asking for!"

Each episode will feature Kevin and Jenna re-watching episodes of Glee and spilling the behind-the-scenes secrets while also sharing personal sentiments and reflections about filming. The first episode will guest star Lea Michele (AKA the iconic Rachel Berry) as the three watch the Glee premiere from 2009.

In conversation with EW, Jenna added: "I feel like there are these older Glee fans. Enough time has passed by to revisit it for the newer fans who were too young to watch it in real-time."
