Kevin Hart calls out alleged internet trolls: 'I couldn't help myself'

Kevin Hart’s Instagram feed is mostly filled with photos of his family and friends — the people he loves most — and workouts, lots of workouts. But Tuesday, he took a different approach and posted pics of people he described to his 56.5 million followers as “internet trolls.”

“Happy Turned up Tuesday people….On this beautiful Tuesday morning I want to shine a light on 4 individuals that desperately need it,” the 38-year-old comedian captioned a slideshow of four photos. “I choose to spread love not hate….But these people choose to spread hate….These are the pictures of internet trolls. You should never get upset at what internet trolls say because 100 percent of the time they are not happy with themselves or their lives. Now I could slaughter these people with a variety of comedic insults but I’m not. I’m wishing @puhzzey @frankihatch @brittney_85 & @flyvet4real a beautiful blessed day.”

At the end of his post, he hashtagged a few insults.

“P.S I couldnt help myself #SheLookLikeArsenioHallinTheFace #SheHasaPairOfSweatPantsThatSheMadeIntoaThongInHerAss #ThatsPubicOnHisHead #ThatsJustToMuchFaceInThatFirstPhoto …..God Bless….I love everybody.”

He also shared a video, further explaining his decision to call out the supposed trolls.

“What up world? Happy Turn Up Tuesday. I’m just explaining to you guys real quick why I shined a light on those internet trolls this morning. I did it because I want the world to see what the people that troll the internet look like,” he said. “This is a fact… This is a fact I’m about to tell you: a hundred percent of the people that troll the internet aren’t successful or happy. Jealousy breeds envy. People are only envious of what they can’t do. The fact that I can’t do it. The fact that I can’t get it makes me hate it. When you understand that, that s*** doesn’t bother you. So to those people that get shamed on the internet, they get upset … and [hurt] deep down and crawl in a hole and really, really get to a f***ing sad place, you shouldn’t. Be bold, be you. At the end of the day, so many people wish that they had the same attitude as those that are successful and bold do. Winners win because of their mindset. Don’t let people drag your mindset down. Turn Up Tuesday, people. Go be happy and smile. I love you.”

Within six hours of Hart’s post, three of the four people mentioned — whose pages reported they have follower counts ranging from a few hundred to 57,500 — set their accounts to private. The owner of the fourth account posted a blank photo with a message thanking Hart for “showing me some love.” He also shared a pic of Hart captioned simply, “Thug.”

Hart has turned up the heat on social media haters before. In October, he singled out an Instagram user in a lengthy post with a similar message. He also shared a photo from the user’s Instagram page. “[You’re] obviously a winner man,” Hart captioned the photo. “Your opinion and input will someday change the world. All I can do is laugh man….I love u brotha…wishing u nothing but the best. This would have been to easy…I’m tempted but I’m not going to do it. God loves you man. I’m just taking a moment to give u the attention that you obviously wanted!!!!! Congrats your famous now.”

That account also has since been set to private.
