Who knew Fuller would grow up to be so cool?

It's been nearly 30 years since we were first introduced to Home Alone, the iconic Christmas movie that made child actor Macaulay Culkin a household name back in 1990, and the rest of the family flick's unforgettable cast.

The movie (which—fun fact!—was Oscar-nominated for Best Original Score and Best Original Song) centers around a mischievous 8-year-old boy who's accidentally left behind while his family goes on vacation, forcing him to go it alone when his house needs to be protected from the burglars in town. But despite the film and its sequel's massive success, Culkin—and the rest of the Home Alone cast—all moved on from the franchise.

Read on to see what the cast of the original Home Alone is up to today.

What is Home Alone's Macaulay Culkin (Kevin McCallister) doing now?

Fresh off the hype from Home Alone, Culkin starred in the 1991 tearjerker My Girl alongside Anna Chlumsky, then also reprised his role of Kevin McCallister for Home Alone's successful sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York. Though he mostly stayed out of the spotlight for many years afterward, he now seems to be in a great place. He walked away from the Home Alone franchise after the second film, but there are no hard feelings. In fact, Culkin reprised his role in an ad for Google Assistant in 2018.

He's also guested on the Hulu show Dollface, which his fiance Brenda Song (who he met on the set of the 2019 film Changeland) stars in. Speaking of his girlfriend, they seem to be extremely happy together. While on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast a few years ago, the former child star opened up about his serious relationship with Song and how he hoped to have children with her in the near future. “I have a pretty little family—a pretty girl, a pretty dog, a pretty cat and all that stuff. We’re doing the house thing and all that kind of stuff," he said.  That dream came true in April 2021 when the couple welcomed son Dakota Song Culkin.

More recently, Culkin appeared in several episodes of American Horror Story: Double Feature.

What is Home Alone's Catherine O'Hara (Kate McCallister) doing now?

The actress gave a memorable performance as Kevin's distracted mother in both the original Home Alone and its sequel. She went on to become a comedic icon. Years before filming the Christmas classic, she met Eugene Levy in the Toronto branch of the improv theater group Second City. The two have co-starred in several movies together, but nowadays, they're iconically known as the parents on the beloved Canadian sitcom Schitt's Creek, for which they both scored Emmys in 2020.

After reprising his role as Kevin's dad for the movie's sequel, Heard went on to star in other successful films including Gladiator and The Guardian. He also appeared on TV shows including NCIS: Los Angeles, Modern Family and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Sadly, he died of a heart attack in 2017 at age 71.

What is Home Alone's Joe Pesci (Harry) doing now?

Though he was famous for having his head burnt by a blowtorch in Home Alone (and actually sustained some pretty serious injuries during filming), Joe Pesci was renowned as a serious dramatic actor for years, earning his first Oscar nomination acting opposite Robert De Niro in filmmaker Martin Scorsese's Raging Bull in 1981. He made another Scorsese movie in 1990 (the same year Home Alone came out) that further shaped his career: Goodfellas, which nabbed him a Best Supporting Actor Oscar—for which he delivered the shortest acceptance speech in Academy history.

Then came My Cousin Vinny, Casino, A Bronx Tale and more. Most recently, he came full-circle starring alongside De Niro again in Scorsese's The Irishman and earning his third Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination. He will next appear in a semi-autobiographical Pete Davidson series called "Bupkis" on Peacock.

What is Home Alone's Daniel Stern (Marv) doing now?

Stern played the quirky sidekick to Harry in both the original and sequel of Home Alone, best known for getting smashed in the face with an iron—ouch! Before that, he'd served as the narrator on the hit series The Wonder Years and has since appeared on other TV shows including Dilbert, Regular Joe, Manhattan, Getting On and Hulu's Shrill, playing Aidy Bryant's dad.

What is Home Alone's Devin Ratray (Buzz McCallister) doing now?

After playing Buzz, the nasty old brother of Kevin who had a not-so-desirable girlfriend (woof!), Ratray appeared in a number of TV series including The Tick, Chicago Med and Mosaic. Most recently, Ratray was seen in Jennifer Lopez's hit Hustlers as one of the men her character duped. But perhaps most exciting to Home Alone fans, he's brought back the character of Buzz for a small role in Home Sweet Home Alone. Apparently, the no-good Buzz grew up to be a cop (!), as you can see in the Home Sweet Home Alone trailer.

What is Home Alone's Gerry Bamman (Uncle Frank) doing now?

"Look what you did you little jerk!" is one of the most recognizable quotes from the Home Alone franchise, and it was perfectly delivered by Bamman, who played Kevin's fed-up uncle. After the sequel in 1992, the actor went on to appear in a handful of TV series including Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Most recently, he appeared in the crime series, The Following, which starred Kevin Bacon.

What is Home Alone's Kieran Culkin (Fuller) doing now?

Though he didn't exactly steal the show like his older brother, the younger Culkin played Fuller, one of the cousins in the McCallisters' extended family. (He was the one with the reputation for wetting the bed after too much Pepsi.) While he also signed on for the film's sequel in 1992, Culkin later made a name for himself with his performance in Igby Goes Down, which earned him a Golden Globe best actor nomination, as well as Father of the Bride. Today, he stars in the HBO series Succession, which earned him another Golden Globe nomination. In conjunction with the launch of Succession's third season in the fall of 2021, Culkin hosted Saturday Night Live, where he talked about likewise appearing on that program years and years ago alongside his famous older brother.
