Kevin Costner's Wife Reportedly Given Deadline to Move Out

Kevin Costner has been trying to evict his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, from his Santa Barbara residence, and it looks like the court has finally ruled in his favor.

According to the soon-to-be-former couple's prenuptial agreement, Baumgartner was required to vacate the home before the first of June—within 30 days of her filing for divorce, which occurred on May 1—but she's still living there.

The two have been going back and forth ever since, with Costner asserting that she was refusing to leave. People obtained new court documents that were filed on June 30, where the Yellowstone star requested the court order her to move out by July 13, 2023, at the latest, which was filed in response to a filing from Baumgartner, where she denied his claims that she refused to leave the residence, asserting that she would move out by Aug. 31 if the two could come to an agreement over child support.

Together, they share Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13. They've lived in the beachfront property their whole lives, and Baumgartner reportedly asked for $248,000 a month in order to find a "suitable separate household," which Costner called "inflated."

Now, a judge has reportedly found a spot in the middle, denying her August move-out date, but ordering her to vacate by the end of July.

The separation came after 18 years of marriage, with the designer citing "irreconcilable differences." The actor didn't seem on board with the filing, with his rep previously issuing a statement reading, "It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action."
