Kevin Bacon dances at Footloose school 40 years on from hit film
Kevin Bacon danced as he returned to the Utah high school where Footloose was filmed 40 years on from the hit movie.
The now-65-year-old visited Payson High School after a student-led #BaconToPayson social media campaign asked him to attend the final prom held at the school, which will be demolished next year.
“Things look a little different around here. I’d say the thing that looks the most different is me,” the actor joked.
In the 1984 film, Bacon plays a city teenager who moves to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned.
The Payson High School students held a Footloose-themed prom to end the day, just like in the film.
