Kevin Bacon figured out the best way to deal with his Sunday scaries.

The Footloose actor's wife, Kyra Sedgwick, took to Instagram on Sunday to share how her husband handles what she deemed the "Sunday Saddies."

"We're gonna look and see what Kevin does to combat the Sunday Saddies," she began in the clip before placing her pointer finger over her mouth, shushing the camera and sneaking up on her husband, 64.

The May 28 Instagram video then cuts to the actor sitting criss-cross apple sauce on the floor as he puts together a toy, fully displaying his inner child. "You'd think they'd give good instructions with this thing," he said as he let out a little chuckle while Sedgwick laughed behind the camera.

The Closer actress, 57, then zoomed into the box that the toy came in, revealing that it was a Hot Wheels ramp for the cars to drive down.

"Sometimes combatting the #sundaysaddies means going back to your childhood joys. As adults, we often forget to play. Don’t forget to play!#SundaySaddies #HotWheels," Sedgwick captioned the post.

Fans seem to agree, as one exclaimed, "😂👏👏amazing how a toy can trigger fond memories."

"He LOOKS like a kid…sitting cross-legged on the floor with that smile. Made my day!!" another added.

A third shared some wise advice, "Never grow up! 😍. Life’s too short not to enjoy every moment you can!"

"Hot wheels, they rock," a fourth concluded.

Sedgwick started her "Sunday Saddies" series on Instagram in early April, focusing on different ways to combat the feeling of having to jump back into another week of work or school after a fun weekend.

Previously, the actress shared that she fights the feeling by going on long walks, eating delicious ice cream and keeping her hands busy with arts and crafts, like putting together floral bouquets.
