Kerry Washington Shared an Emmys 2019 Pic of Maisie Williams Photobombing Her Shot

It looks Maisie Williams’s faceless assassin skills might live on outside the screen — and this 2019 Emmys photobomb moment is the perfect proof.

On the Emmys’ purple carpet (and in true Arya Stark style) Maisie managed to stealthily sneak her way into Kerry Washington's frame while the latter was being photographed.

The Scandal actor, however, seemed to be more than happy with Maisie’s photobombing and couldn’t help but boast about it on social media. “When you get photobombed by THE Arya Stark,” Kerry wrote on Twitter, proudly sharing the snapshot.

So Maisie might have walked out of the Microsoft Theater without an individual statuette (both she and BFF Sophie Turner were nominated for their work on Game of Thrones), but she definitely walked in with a fan.

In fact, this isn’t the first time Kerry has fangirled over Maisie. Back in 2015, both actors linked up at another awards show, and Kerry made sure to immortalize the occasion. “Major mutual fangirling! LOVE HER. Sooooo much!” she wrote then when sharing the pic to her Instagram. It’s nice to see the love is still as strong four years later.

Apart from Kerry and Maisie's hilariously adorable interaction, the 2019 Emmys gave us unforgettable moments — from Billy Porter’s historic win to Sophie Turner and Kit Harington’s reunion — and the purple carpet also had its fair share of memorable happenings, like director Ava DuVernay bringing the real Central Park Five as her dates. It was truly a night to remember.
