Kerry Washington is starting off the year on a strong note with a stunning new manicure that anyone — even nail art novices — can master at home.

The Little Fires Everywhere star revealed her first manicure of 2021 via her Instagram Stories on New Year's Day. She first posted an initial Boomerang with "New year. New nails" written on top, and followed that with a close-up photo of her digits to show off the details, such as all of the beautiful glitter accents and "2021" written artfully in black on her thumb.

As for who's behind the actor's festive manicure, that would be nail artist Kim Truong, who also works with other A-list celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Jennifer Aniston — to name just a few.

To get this look at home, you'll need black and pale pink polishes, some champagne glitter (as well as some nail adhesive to make it stick), and a tiny brush or dotting tool to help you draw on the gold and black stars. Additionally, to achieve Washington's exact nail shape and length, you may want to try a pair of oval acrylics. (This set from Amazon comes with a wide variety of oval press-ons to choose from.)

Suffice it to say, if you're looking for a 2021-themed nail look to try, you definitely can't go wrong with this one. Thanks, Kerry, for hitting us with some awesome nail inspiration right off the bat.
