How was your weekend? Cool, cool. Kerry Washington spent hers treating her abs to a gorgeous sunrise.

Kerry, 44, dropped two photos on Instagram yesterday that showed her hanging out in what appears to be a desert in a stunning yellow string bikini. It looks a lot like celeb-fave hideaway Amangiri in Utah, but it's definitely not the background setting that's catching everyone's attention in the post.

Kerry's legs, arms, and abs look super toned, her natural curls are perfectly tousled, and she also just seems really happy. “Here comes the 🌞👉🏾,” she wrote in the caption.

People were all about it, including a few famous friends. “She always brings the sunshine ! ☀️,” wrote Reese Witherspoon. “🔥🙌🔥🙌,” said Naomi Watts. “😍😍😍😍,” said Storm Reid.

Kerry doesn’t look like that by accident. The Scandal star goes hard with Pilates, which is known for creating amazing strength and muscle tone. “I'm a big Pilates girl,” Kerry told Elle. Kerry and her trainer, Juliet Kaska, actually find ways to use “personal training equipment” for Pilates-style workouts, Kaska previously told Women’s Health.

“That way our workouts can also be really diverse in what we’re doing, in what she needs, and where we can meet,” Kaska said. Kerry also throws typical Pilates equipment into the mix, like The Reformer, The Table, and The Chair, so she gets a seriously intense workout.

Just a heads up, though: Kerry, like everyone else on the planet, has struggled with motivation in the past. She previously told Women’s Health that it took her time to get into the habit of working out consistently. “You don’t even want to be in your own body when [you] show up at the gym—I didn’t for years,” she said. “As women, we live in this culture where it’s like, ‘You have to fix this.’ Pilates has allowed me to be focused on my appearance and my health in ways that are not abusive or critical.”

While Kerry seems to be all about the mental perks of Pilates, it’s clear that she’s getting some physical perks, too. Evidence:

I rest my case.
