Kerry Washington nailed the latest social media trend that sees users poke fun at their past behavior or decisions without hesitation.

The trend is "things [or something] I ate and survived," and while some users make videos that show photos of things they have eaten and survived, others have used it to describe an instance in their past that they're embarrassed by.

But, in the Scandal actress' case, it was a mix of both.

In a video shared to TikTok over the weekend, Washington, 46, ate a raw egg on camera–but not before translating the word "egg" from Spanish and cracking it on her forehead.

It all started with a disappointed Washington staring at the camera, joking, "Things I ate and survived," before it cut to a clip of a teenage Washington acting in a Spanish language learning series. "Juevo means egg," she said before cracking the egg multiple times on her forehead and eventually dropping the yolk into her mouth.

Speechless, she simply joked, "Yep," alongside an egg emoji in the caption.

The video baffled many fans, including one who wrote, "Kerry Nooooo you didn’t 😭, why’d they make you do that?!?"

"WHAT WAS THE REASON 😂😂🤣🤣😭😭😭😭," one fan exclaimed while another commented, "The MULTIPLE cracks on the forehead 😂😂😂 this is outstandingly funny."

"The rent must have been due cause WHAT?! 😂😂 Love you 🥰," another fan quipped.

About a month ago, a nostalgia-filled pop culture TikTok account that goes by the name of "@vhs_oddities" shared a similar video of Washington from the same series (this time teaching viewers how to say "cheese" in Spanish) with added context: "One of Kerry Washington’s first acting jobs was for a Spanish learning series produced by the Standard Deviants in 1997. There are so many great gems on this tape."
