Kerry Washington, 43, just showed off her toned abs in a rare bikini Instagram.
The Little Fires Everywhere actress casually lounged on a butterfly pool float.
The Scandal alum is a big fan of Pilates, but also hikes and does water aerobics.
Mondays can be rough AF, but apparently that’s just not the case when you’re Kerry Washington. The 43-year-old actress just completely slayed the Instagram game with a new bikini pic that’s both gorgeous and artsy.
“#MondayMotivation =🦋@MariahCarey🦋 ….duh," the Little Fires Everywhere star captioned the pic. In it, Kerry is lounging in a pool on a cool butterfly float (NEED), and she looks amazing. Her skin is all glowy, her natural curls look absolutely gorge, and her abs and legs are super toned.

People definitely noticed. “Slay Reina Mariposa 👏🙌,” one person wrote in the comments. “GOALS.😍🙌” another said.
Of course, the Scandal alum works hard to look that good, and it all starts with Pilates. “I'm a big Pilates girl,” Kerry previously told Elle.
Her trainer, Juliet Kaska, previously told Women’s Health that the two will use “personal training equipment” in Pilates-esque ways. “That way our workouts can also be really diverse in what we’re doing, in what she needs, and where we can meet,” Kaska says, noting that Kerry also uses classic Pilates equipment, like The Reformer, The Table, and The Chair.
But the American Son actress said it took time for her to get into the idea of working out on the reg. “You don’t even want to be in your own body when [you] show up at the gym—I didn’t for years,” she previously told Women’s Health. “As women, we live in this culture where it’s like, ‘You have to fix this.’ Pilates has allowed me to be focused on my appearance and my health in ways that are not abusive or critical.”
She's not ~just~ into Pilates, though. Kerry told Allure that she likes hiking, swimming, SoulCycle, using her Peloton bike, hitting up dance classes, and using an elliptical machine. “I do different things, but I’m most obsessed with water aerobics,” she said. “Now I do it with my friends on the weekends.”
Kerry is also big on working on her mental health. She recently shared a series of video clips of herself on Instagram, talking up the perks of Ujjayi breathing, a technique that’s designed to calm your mind.
