Kern County Animal Services in need of feeding bottles for cats and dogs

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Animal Services is in need of baby bottles for its motherless puppies and kittens.

KCAS made the announcement on social media Thursday and is asking for baby bottles of any size and color to help feed motherless animals at the shelter. The bottles will also be disbursed to community members who are fostering cats and dogs.

According to organizers, KCAS is swamped daily with new litters of puppies, kittens and pregnant pets who are ready to have their babies any minute. Foster parents are also needed to help alleviate space at the shelter.

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter during normal business hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., at 3951 Fruitvale Avenue.
