Kenny Chesney's Rum Brand Teamed Up With Tipsy Scoop To Make An Extravagant Piña Colada Ice Cream
Chances are you love booze and ice cream, so why not mix the two together for a decadently good time? Tipsy Scoop does just that, and their amazing alcoholic ice creams have included partnerships with everyone from Truly hard seltzers to Angry Orchard. The latest alc to hit the lineup is Kenny Chesney's rum, and it's getting an extravagant piña colada upgrade.
Kenny Chesney's Blue Chair Bay rum is named after his 2004 hit song "Old Blue Chair." The line of liquor features tons of flavors inspired by the island lifestyle, and Tipsy Scoop's new ice cream does the same. In honor of Piña Colada Day (which is July 10!), the alcoholic ice cream parlor crafted a piña colada ice cream that is totally dairy-free and features Kenny's Blue Chair Bay coconut rum.
Along with the rum, the vegan ice cream is made with creamy coconut milk, fresh coconut, and sweet pineapple. The treat weighs in at about five percent ABV, so it's right up there with your average hard seltzer. The piña colada ice cream is limited-edition, but you can buy pints of it (including a pack of four pints) for $48 on TipsyScoop.com.
For country fans or those who just enjoy a good ol' piña colada and live in New York, you can also buy a Blue Chair Bay x Tipsy Scoop Piña Colada Day Cocktail Kit which comes with one pint of the piña colada ice cream, one pint of Tipsy Scoop's strawberry sangria sorbet, two mini white wines, two pineapple cups, a can of pineapple juice, fresh coconut, assorted fruit gummies, straws, and cocktail umbrellas.
