Kendall Roy's Upper East Side Penthouse Is For Sale for $29 Million
Succession mega-fans are one step closer to actually living like a Roy. For a sweeping $29 million (previously listed at $33 million), one can acquire Kendall Roy's penthouse apartment on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The apartment sits atop the tallest residential building in the neighborhood.
The triplex apartment last made an appearance in season four episode four of the HBO dramedy. While the context was somber, the apartment itself is anything but: with ceiling heights that range from 13-29 feet high and arched floor-to-ceiling windows, each of the five bedrooms, four-and-half bathrooms are sun-soaked. In the 5,500 square foot apartment, there are views of Manhattan skyline, Central Park, the East River, and the George Washington Bridge.
From the private elevator, one is immediately taken into one of two living rooms. There is also a designated dining room, study room, eat-in kitchen, wet bar, and a sculptural staircase that leads to the primary suit with fireplace and terrace, and secondary bedrooms. The terrace itself is 2,100 square feet of outdoor space, with enough room for a fourteen-person dining table, living area, and a fireplace.
According to the The Architect’s Newspaper, the home, developed by Joe McMillan’s DDG, takes design cues from classic New York City pre-war masonry façades that occurred in the '20s, "citing the work of Ralph Thomas Walker."
