The New Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics Collection Features Never-Before-Seen Products
It has been 466 says since we first reported on the pending existence of a Kylie Cosmetics collaboration with Kylie Jenner's older sister, Kendall Jenner. And as much as fans have been looking forward to the eventual — and, for a long time, undetermined — launch, no one has been more eager about the collection reveal than Kylie herself. But after teasing a single product earlier this week, she spent Saturday night finally sharing a comprehensive look at the products, many of which are completely new to the brand.
"I am so excited to finally show you the Kendall Kylie collection we've been working on for so long," Kylie says in an Instagram Stories video, telling viewers that the stunning photos splashed across the packaging were shot a year-and-a-half ago. "I've been so excited to finally collaborate with my sister. So yeah, with everything going on, it's been pushed back a lot. So I'm very happy to finally be showing you guys."
As you might expect from any Kylie Cosmetics collection, there's a gorgeous eye shadow palette with 15 pressed-powder shades in both bright and neutral hues and ranging from matte to super sparkly. Kylie also included a rosy, new High Gloss shade that she's calling her "favorite High Gloss I've been using."
What looked like a traditional Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit in the sneak peek Kylie shared on June 18 is actually what she's calling a Lip Blush Kit — a new take on signature sets. The shade, called Sister Sister, appears to be a liner and semi-matte liquid lipstick in a neutral, dusty pink.
More newness: a Kylight Stick, Bronzer Stick, and Blush Stick. "I am so excited for these cream sticks to join the Kylie Cosmetics family," Kylie says, revealing that beyond these three individual shades, more will be launching as part of the core line shortly after the collaboration drops. “Kendall saw me working on my samples and wanted them a part of her collection so bad. So these three shades are Kendall's perfect signature shades. If you feel like any of these shades won't suit your skin, I have a whole range of all three of them coming out."
Also new to the brand is Blotting Powder, which Kylie says is a mattifying cream-powder hybrid — and exactly what she and Kendall have been needing lately. "Kendall is pretty oily. I just started getting oily. So I've been taking this out with me for the last few months, and it has been a lifesaver," Kylie says. "You could use the sponge, you could use a Beautyblender, you can use your fingers. Sometimes I just like to use my fingers, but yeah, the formula is really cool."
The final product is basically the opposite of the Blotting Powder: a new creation called Everything Everywhere Gloss. "This is also something Kendall highly requested," Kylie says. "You could put it on your eyes, on your cheeks, on your lips, pretty much anywhere you want. It is amazing."
So after all these months you can finally mark your calendar: Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics launches on kyliecosmetics.com June 26.
