Kendall Jenner is facing backlash for throwing a birthday party in the middle of the pandemic.
Celeb guests were asked not to use social media in what seems like an attempt to avoid accountability.
We’re currently in the third wave of an ongoing pandemic that’s killed hundreds of thousands of Americans, and Kendall Jenner decided it was a good time to host a 25th birthday party—blatantly ignoring California’s state guidelines in the process, which prohibit gatherings that include more than three households.
In a display of wealth, privilege, and inability to read the room that puts even Kim Kardashian’s birthday vacation to shame, Kendall gathered a group of celebrity friends for her Halloween-themed party and asked them not to post any photos on social media. However, her own sister Kylie Jenner chronicled every moment of the night, and the internet is…not impressed.

All of this is nauseating, but one particular moment from the party caught extra attention: when Kendall blew out candles on a cake being held by a masked essential worker, apparently not caring that she was spraying him with her saliva and breath in the process. No words.
