Dare we put the ass in Christmass? Kendall Jenner has divided the internet (again) with her latest fashion campaign, for the Jacqemus holiday collection. This is the same brand that stuck her in a cloud over the summer, so, you know, context and all that.

Here's how it went down: Last week the company posted a picture of some tinsel on the ground and captioned it, “It’s tiimeeeeeee…..Ready?” Fans wondered whether the French brand was teasing new campaign stars, possibly Blackpink's Jennie or Mariah Carey, Queen of Christmas. All were disappointed.

Two days ago it posted another picture: a glistening posterior wrapped in string lights. And you can kinda, sorta see the shearling top the model is wearing. Which model? Well, it could have played it cool and saved the face reveal for the next post, but the brand decided to tag Kendall Jenner RIGHT ON HER CRACK. She's also mentioned in the caption, so I guess there was never a plan to have it be mysterious. Fine. They probably want the controversy.

In the next post, the campaign is revealed, with Jenner sticking her light-covered leg up a wall, posing in a sparkly outfit and ice skates, pretending she's going to ski down the stairs, lying topless on a couch in a Santa hat, and chillin' with her skis on, no pants.

Obviously, the Butt of It All is getting the most attention, with comments ranging from “How dare you sexualize the birth of Jesus!” to “YAS if the evangelicals are mad, she must be doing something right!” to “The Kardashians have nothing to offer but their bodies” (I'm paraphrasing), which, IDK, she's a model getting paid to pose—that seems, again…fine? Over the summer she got naked on a horse for Stella McCartney….

Do I wish they would turn on the lights? Absolutely! This should be fun! Reminiscent of ye olde Victoria's Secret days and the Love advent calendar (RIP).
