With summer almost over, it's officially time to bid farewell to our beloved flip flops and open-toe shoes, and slide on fall's assortment of cozy, cool-weather footwear. That is, unless Kendall Jenner has anything to say about it.
On Friday, the supermodel gave a masterclass in transitional dressing, and managed to find a way to wear her sandals in spite of the season's dropping temperatures. Heading to dinner with boyfriend Devin Booker in New York City to celebrate her new role as creative director of luxury e-commerce site FWRD, Jenner stepped out in a super-short slip dress with spaghetti straps, and controversially paired her LBD with sheer black tights and matching open-toe kitten heels.
She accessorized with a tiny shoulder bag and a black face mask. Her dark hair was styled in tousled waves that flowed past her shoulders.

The outing came just hours after Kendall made her NYFW runway debut at Michael Kors's spring-summer show. For her first look, she paired a black pencil skirt with a coordinating bra, and later modeled a black cutout gown covered in sequins. Both outfits were complemented with red lipstick and a slicked-back bun.
