On Saturday, Kendall Jenner attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles wearing a look by Burc Akyol. The sheer black body suit showed off the model's figure, with fabric framing her navel and just covering her bust. Over the suit was a vinyl silver skirt that brushed the ground, occasionally pulling back to reveal her heeled sandals.
The bodysuit rode up slightly above the skirt, showing the top of her bare thigh, and the sleeves came down over her hands in fingerless gloves. Jenner wore a dark brown lipstick and left her hair down over her shoulders.
Jenner was accompanied by her sister Kim Kardashian, who also wore a form-fitting dress, this one made entirely of black vinyl with a mock-turtle neck, full gloves, and a mermaid skirt that ended in a train behind her on the red carpet. She was wearing pointed black stiletto boots and left her long platinum hair down in gentle waves.
This was the 11th annual Los Angeles County Museum of Art gala, and the event honored artist Helen Pashgian. Pashgian is “an influential pioneer of Southern California’s Light and Space movement, along with trailblazing Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook.”
The event was co-chaired by Leonardo DiCaprio and LACMA trustee Eva Chow. Gala proceeds are used to add film to museum's curatorial programming and the space generally, including exhibitions, acquisitions, and educational programming.
Jenner recently celebrated her 27th birthday, posting photos from her week of celebrations and thanking everyone for the birthday love. From the pictures, it looked like she spent her celebration at a beautiful resort with cake, swimming, and yoga.
Her sister also shared a picture of her kissing her sister on the cheek when she was an infant to wish her a happy birthday.
“Always the voice of reason and the one who will check me when no one else will say it LOL,” Kardashian wrote in the caption. “I’m always so proud of you for following your truth and my God you are so pretty inside and out.”
