Kendall Jenner Is Thinking of Chopping Off Her Hair

There's one big thing stopping her.

Kendall Jenner is likely spending a good chunk of this weekend getting ready for Monday's Met Gala, finalizing her fittings, mapping out her makeup look — and perhaps getting a major haircut? Based on what she told E! News in a new interview, it sounds like the model has been considering a significant chop.

"I think about just shaving it all off sometimes," Jenner confesses. But then she quickly clarified, "I mean, not like a buzz. But I think about chopping it off." Hopefully, the possibility of Kendall going short doesn’t worry the folks at Formawell, the brand with which she was promoting styling tools during the interview. The marketing materials are basically all Jenner brushing and blowdrying her past-the-shoulders strands.

"I chopped it a couple years ago, pretty short. I had short hair for a little while," Jenner says, though it was never as short as mom Kris Jenner's signature style — and that's pretty much on purpose.

"That's the problem. If I cut my hair that short then I just look like my mom," she says, which is arguably not a problem, considering her mom looks awesome. She continued, "I've been on sets before and they put short wigs on me like my mom. It's too much. I literally am mini Kris Jenner." She's not kidding — just check out the style she wore for the Tom Ford Spring 2018 runway show. Uncanny, right?

As showstopping as it would be for Jenner to show up on this year's Met Gala red carpet with significantly shorter hair, it seems she may have some more deliberating to do. But in the meantime, she's surrounded by people on #TeamKendallCut. "Some of my friends are trying to push me to do it," she said. And we don't blame them — she would, of course, look phenomenal.
