Kendall Jenner sported a 'bedhead bun' at the Oscars afterparty

Cast your mind back to secondary school and I’m sure you’ll remember an array of hairstyles. For me, that involves a super thick side fringe that resembled a pirate’s eye patch, some hardcore crimping and wet-look curls, courtesy of a hefty coating of Garnier Fructis mousse, ofc. At least the latter is a trend once again, right?
But alongside all of this, there was one hairstyle I couldn’t get enough of: some kind of updo that was only complete once I pulled out some face-framing strands. And again, it seems like that’s another trend that’s made a huge comeback over the years.
We’ve seen Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera and, most recently, Kourtney Kardashian all sport the popular playground trend. Now, it looks like Kendall Jenner has taken notes from her older sis, as she wore it last night – but with some additional Y2K touches that brought all the nostalgia.
Attending the Vanity Fair Oscars 2023 afterparty, Kenny wore her hair in a super stylish updo that threw us right back to the 00s. The front of her hair was parted with a millennial-approved middle-parting and, yep, a few carefully teased-out face-framing tendrils.
As for the rest of her hair, Kendall's go-to hairstylist Jen Atkin twisted and piled the model's lengths onto the top of her head to create a chic bun. But even the bun has its own strands pulled out for a messy finish. In fact, it's serving 'bedhead', in the chicest way possible ofc.
The messy bun was hugely popular at this year’s Oscars, with Rihanna also sporting her take on the trend while walking the red carpet.
