Kendall Jenner Skips Out on New York—And Says Bonjour to the Bohemian Gladiator Look
The model left the shows early for Paris—and debuted a dramatic new off-duty style.
Kendall Jenner has made a stylish mark during New York Fashion Week, cementing her supermodel status alongside icons including Kate Moss (at Longchamp) and Cindy Crawford (at Russell James’s book party). However, it appears she decided to skip town early—and when she resurfaced today in Paris, Jenner debuted a radical new approach to model-off-duty dressing.
Call it the bohemian gladiator: Jenner paired a fierce fringed dress with fancy knee-high flats for a look that spoke to her laid-back SoCal roots while remaining perfectly polished. A ladylike chain-link handbag tied the look together.
It’s worth noting that Jenner tested the waters in a similar combo while in New York—she donned a purple suede fringed dress and taupe gladiators to Longchamp’s show—but her Parisian approach was far more pared back with its black-and-white palette.
