Kendall Jenner Reveals She and Kylie Had No Interest in Being on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Initially
Kendall Jenner just shared that she and Kylie Jenner didn’t want to be on their family’s reality show at first.
Obviously, they changed their tune, and Keeping Up With the Kardashians is now on season 16.
As you may know by now, the season 16 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians is airing tonight, which means America has been watching Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner (plus sometimes Rob!) live their lives for years-from the backlash of Kim’s sex tape all the way to them becoming the most famous family in America. But in a new interview, Kendall shared something kinda surprising-she never wanted to be on the show in the first place!
KUWTK started when Kendall and Kylie were just 11 and 9, respectively, and apparently, they wanted nothing to do with the reality show. Kendall recently told The New York Times, “Kylie and I, for a really long time, wanted no part of it. We just wanted to go to our rooms and iChat with our friends.” And honestly, fair! What preteen wants to hang out with their family, let alone hang out with their family on national television?
Obviously, Kendall and Kylie went along with it-could you imagine saying no to Kris Jenner??-and they’ve each had story lines central to the show over the years (think: Kylie’s pregnancy).
