Today’s news that Giambattista Valli is set to become H&M’s latest designer collaborator was exciting enough on its own, but the fast fashion brand’s plan to introduce the collection is nothing short of ambitious. With a red carpet debut in the middle of the Cannes Film Festival, H&M assured everyone would be talking about its latest endeavor. This afternoon at the annual amfAR gala, Valli made his entrance at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc with his celebrity muses model Kendall Jenner and Chinese singer-songwriter Chris Lee in tow, both in sweeping pink tiered tulle gowns with an affordable price point.

Jenner went for maximum glamour via a mini dress with detachable train and neon color worn with strappy sandals and oversized pearl earrings. Lee, who has been a regular presence on best dressed lists all week thanks to her avant-garde wardrobe, went for the romanticism of a plunging neckline and petal pink ruffles. With the arrival of Bianca Brandolini d’Adda in an impressive crop top and mini skirt combo, the trio provided a succinct overview of what to expect when the collection hits stores in November.
