The comedy film centers on Dexter Reed and Ed, two dim-witted teenage employees at a fast-food restaurant called Good Burger. But when an even bigger fast-food franchise, Mondo Burger, moves into the neighborhood, the teens realize they have to fight to keep the restaurant from going under.

As some fans may already know, the movie was inspired by a popular sketch that was originally featured in All That. It included the same two main actors and centered on Ed as the funny, absent-minded employee.

The movie stars Kenan Thompson (from Saturday Night Live) and Kel Mitchell, who actually serves as an executive producer on Nickelodeon's All That reboot. Other cast members include Sinbad, Abe Vigoda and Jan Schweiterman, with appearances from stars like Carmen Electra and Shaquille O'Neal. Brian Robbins directed the film and produced it with Mike Tollin. The script was also written by Dan Schneider, Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert.

Although the film was met with mixed reviews from critics during its theatrical release in 1997, it was a major box office success in the U.S., and it's still considered a cult classic to loyal Nickelodeon fans. And according to Ken Fox from TV Guide, it's "a fresh, funny, super-sized kid's comedy that may even have a few grown-ups cracking smiles."
