Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell recently reunited for a special Saturday Night Live skit with host Keke Palmer.

In the skit, Palmer and Thompson star in a reboot of Kenan & Kel, with the host taking over for Mitchell's original role. They return to Rigby's convenience store where Thompson's character works, and in addition to the brand of comedy the Nickelodeon series brought audiences, Palmer shoots her shot for an Emmy by adding dramatic twists to the supposedly funny plot while Mitchell makes a surprise appearance.

The two actors recently appeared at the 2022 Emmys for a brief Good Burger sketch, and Thompson hinted in August that he and Mitchell are working on a sequel to the 1997 film. Details of the film and other important information are still under wraps as of writing.
