Ken Fulk Is Releasing a Line of Wallpaper With Pierre Frey This Fall
Get ready for the overwhelming urge to wallpaper (or re-wallpaper) every room in your home, because design mastermind Ken Fulk and iconic fabric company Pierre Frey are releasing a collection of wallpapers, fabrics, and rugs this fall.
The Cult of Beauty and The Surreal World collections will include patterns that play on a mix of eras and cultures—ranging from neoclassical and brutalist architecture to illusionist works and even surrealist party references. They also feature gardens and landscapes, including a tribute to hedges seen from the sky that form a labyrinth-like design. No matter your style, there’s truly a fun, colorful pattern for everyone in these collections.
Some of the standout patterns influenced by Fulk’s design work include a warm-toned, striped pattern that gives the illusion of horizontal lines. Another is a kaleidoscope pattern that features an abstract bouquet of shapes and colors. Dogs, Fulk’s favorite animal, are also the stars of a dreamy collage pattern.
Other patterns draw on travel and history events, like neoclassical Parisian architecture and a famous masked ball Salvador Dalí held in 1941 at the Hotel Del Monte in California. Not to mention, there are plenty of majestic, nature-inspired scenes—including redwoods trees that give a forest pattern a cathedral-like look.
The collections will be available in the United States in mid-October at Pierre Frey trade showrooms. Prep your walls, floors, or even window treatments for fresh patterns come fall!
