If Kelsea Ballerini isn't drawing in listeners with her heartfelt music, she knows how to do so with the outfits she wears while singing them.
As the country singer traveled the road for the first leg of her Heartfirst tour, she stopped by Saturday Night Live to perform songs from her EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat. When Kelsea got onstage to sing her single "Blindsided," people felt just that after seeing the long-sleeved black jumpsuit she wore for the appearance. But this wasn't any typical look. The one-piece ensemble featured see-through material overlaid in a tiger-like pattern.
The attire also came up to her neck and ended in a straight-cut at her feet, making her a walking optical illusion. With an outfit that was both subtle yet sexy, the "Dibs" songstress made sure the completing elements felt the same as well.
Because the focus of the outfit was the unique pattern, Kelsea chose to wear a ring on her finger and earrings hidden behind her wavy blonde hair. As for makeup, she donned brown smoky eyeshadow, bronzed cheeks and a peachy lip color.
When the Grammy nominee posted highlights from her SNL appearance the next day, fans immediately couldn't stop raving about it on Instagram. What's more, they took to the comments section to rave about the accomplishment ... along with what she wore to commemorate it.
"Yeah sure big slay 🔥🔥🔥," one person wrote in the comments. "Oh wow [baby] you looked and sounded absolutely amazing. I’m so proud of you and how you are growing into your new era. ✌️❤️😘😍🥰❤️🔥," another agreed. "Our queen did that 👏👏👏👏," a different user added.
But this isn't the first time she's been the center of attention, thanks to her wardrobe choice. In fact, she proceeded to shock attendees with a surprising see-through lace dress during a Hollywood event in September 2022. Plus, with her hosting the 2023 CMT Awards on April 2, we're about to get a lot more couture from an already cemented fashionista.
