Whew, it sure has been a tough month to be a pop singer!

Kelsea Ballerini has become the latest performer to be affected by things being thrown onto stage during a show, and the "Miss Me More" songstress was unfortunately hit in the face by the flying object.

While performing her hit song “If You Go Down” at Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise, Idaho, on Wednesday, June 28, she was suddenly struck by the unidentified item, forcing her to temporarily halt her gig.

Footage of the shocking moment surfaced on social media following the occurrence, depicting Ballerini tending to her eye and walking backstage, following a brief exchange with her violinist. While it’s unknown what exactly hit the singer, several fans in attendance suggest it was a bracelet.

Upon returning from the fiasco, Ballerini addressed the crowd, asking, “Can we just talk about what happened?” further adding, “All I care about is keeping everyone safe. If you ever don’t feel safe, please let someone around you know.”

She followed up with this suggestion: “If anyone’s pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling, just always flag it," before urging, "Don’t throw things."

The ordeal even prompted the "Peter Pan" singer's official fan account on Twitter to issue a full statement regarding the concerning matter.

"Guys. I know we all mean well. We all want to show Kelsea love the best way we know how, and shower her with all the gifts. But throwing things on stage where artists are already so vulnerable is NOT the move," the social media communication pleaded.

It continued: "If you can’t hand it to her, there are so many other options. Lord, give it to us! We will make sure it gets to her. But PLEASE don’t put her in danger like this. Again, I know you all mean well, but this is becoming a safety issue. We love you guys. We do. But please make it stop."

The unwarranted and dangerous habit seems to be an increasingly popular trend, with several different things being pelted onto stage over the past several weeks during pop concerts. Bebe Rexha was injured in the face by a phone thrown directly at her head, followed by Ava Max, who was slapped by someone while performing, with the offender reportedly scratching her eye. Meanwhile, Pink recently had a fan's deceased mother's ashes tossed onto stage mid-concert.

Let's hope this ends here and Kelsea is the last target to fall victim to objects being thrown toward them while performing.
