Kelsea Ballerini Flexes Vocals and Guitar Skills in Intimate Instagram Video

If you ever doubted Kelsea Ballerini's musical talent, think again.
The 29-year-old country pop singer recently took to Instagram to show off her versatile vocal and guitar skills with a cover of Patty Griffin's "Let Him Fly."
In the new video, Ballerini can be seen seated in front of a beige wall with a grand chandelier lit up behind her. She donned a very autumnal outfit consisting of a baggy black turtleneck sweater, a casually-chic updo, and minimal gold jewelry.
The video, which was shared to Ballerini's Instagram on Nov. 28, featured the singer/songwriter as she belted out one of the legendary folk artist's hits from her 1996 album Living With Ghosts.
"Ain't no talkin' to this man, ain't no pretty other side, ain't no way to understand the stupid words of pride; it would take an acrobat, and I already tried all that, so I'm gonna let him fly," Ballerini crooned.

"just a chilly cozy patty griffin kinda monday, [sic]" the "HEARTFIRST" singer wrote in the caption.
Her cover ended up being a huge hit–with both fans of Ballerini and Griffin.
"Just you and your guitar hits different 🤍," gushed one fan.
"'took awhile [sic] to understand, the beauty of just letting go' 🥺💙 love you so much kb.💙," exclaimed someone else.
"❤️❤️❤️ love Patty & love Kelsea," a separate comment read.
Another fan cheered her on, practically begging for more covers like this, "Ugh I missed your acoustic covers!!!! So good Kels!!!🤍"
Who knows, as the cool and cozy weather moves in across the country, maybe Ballerini will be inspired to share more acoustic versions of her favorite songs–we can only hope, anyway.
