Kelly Ripa Has Worn This Spring Trend Through Every Season
On an unseasonably warm day in March, Kelly Ripa wore florals. And before you Miranda Priestly me, I’ll have you know that, yes, even though it was already basically spring, Ripa did in fact break ground.
The Live With Kelly and Ryan host is not a seasonal jumper-oner to trends. She’s a year-round stan who knows what she likes, knows what works, and both of those things are florals. All types of florals, at that.
Just this week, Ripa wore a since-sold-out Christopher Kane organza skirt that ballooned from her waist in electric blue pseudanthias. Earlier, on Valentine’s Day (natch), she wore a now-on-sale Magda Butrym ruched, floral-print mini dress. And as we go further back into even colder months, the pattern remains the same. In January she wore a lurex floral IRO dress and in December, an Erdem jersey midi with all-over floral print. Her love for the print exploded in the late summer and fall, when she wore Ganni microflorals, several tropical floral pieces by Farm Rio, plus a few more from Saloni, Erdem, and Madga Butrym.

Ya girl Kelly is nothing if not consistent; her full-time commitment to florals is a feat of its own in such a trend-hopping market. Now that the weather is turning in our favor and it’s just one more week until we can officially call it spring (!!!), us regular folks will do what we do best and jump on Ripa’s botanical bandwagon. Wearing florals in spring is one thing, but our full-time commitment to emulating Ripa’s style? Now that’s groundbreaking.
