Kelly Ripa Posts PDA Comments on Instagram Alongside a New Picture of Mark Consuelos

Kelly Ripa is showing her husband, Mark Consuelos, lots of love during the holiday season.

While enjoying downtime from hosting ABC’s Live With Kelly and Ryan, Kelly hit the slopes with the Riverdale star in the days leading up to Christmas. To commemorate their ski trip together, Kelly decided to share a picture on Instagram of her husband of 23 years.

“#Equipomexico 🇲🇽❄️⛷🎿🎄,” she captioned a photo of Mark holding skis donning the Mexican flag. (ICYW: Her caption translates to “#TeamMexico” in English.)

After seeing the photo, fans began calling the Riverdale actor "daddy" in the comment section, referencing Kelly's now-iconic nickname for her husband. In response to one fan writing "#daddy," Kelly couldn't help but write back, “forever #daddy.”

Of course, Kelly, who is not shy to respond to her fans' comments, didn't stop there. When a different fan commented, “He is so handsome. A terrific husband, father, son but most of all a person,” Kelly responded, “agreed." On top of that, another Instagram follower got lots of heart emojis from the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host when they reacted to the picture of Mark with “😍😘.”

Fans who follow Kelly closely know that PDA is par for the course for the couple. What's more, Kelly is known to defend herself when criticized over how she shows her love for her husband. Most recently, Kelly made headlines in November for clapping back at one Instagram follower who didn't approve of the morning show star's "daddy" comments.

“I love mark and jelly [sic] but it creeps me out when she calls him, ‘Daddy,’” one person wrote on Instagram. This prompted Kelly to hilariously say, “It creeps me out when you call me jelly," pointing out the critic's typo.

Moral of the story: Absolutely nothing is going to stop the love between these two.
