It’s been 28 years since Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, eloped in Las Vegas. And now, the Live with Kelly and Mark co-hosts have returned to the altar where it all began.

Today, Ripa, 53, posted a slideshow on Instagram documenting their return to the Chapel of the Bells, which is the Las Vegas wedding venue where she and Consuelos, 52, tied the knot in 1996.

The first photo is a ’90s throwback, featuring the couple staring into each other's eyes at the altar. Ripa is wearing a white dress with spaghetti straps and a floral pattern, while Consuelos is rocking an all-black suit. (FYI, Ripa previously revealed that her gown was purchased during a Barney's warehouse sale, and it only cost her $199.)

The second picture is a recreation of the first, featuring the duo striking the same exact pose. The caption read, “Viva Las Vegas [sparkle emoji] Then [right arrow emoji] Now.”

In an interview with People magazine, Consuelos revealed that the Chapel of the Bells is “a very special place” for the couple. “We always try to make a drive by when we’re in town,” he said. “But this time, we’re going to take the viewers inside, where it all happened.”

According to the mag, the wedding cost them—wait for it—$179 in total. Ripa added, “It was really romantic, though. It was very sweet. We cherish those memories, still to this day. It’s been 28 years, and we still can remember every minute of that wedding. And I mean, it was really minutes. It was like two minutes!”

28 years down, a lifetime to go.
