Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Can't Stop Gushing Over Daughter Lola on Prom Night

The Ripa-Consuelos family is truly the gift that keeps on giving. This week, the celebrity family reached another milestone: senior prom. Naturally, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos posted daughter Lola’s prom photos to Instagram — and yes, she looks exactly as stunning as you’d expect. The only thing cuter than seeing 17-year-old Lola Grace Consuelos all grown up? The obvious pride that Ripa and Consuelos have in her, as evidenced by their painfully adorable Instagram captions (not to mention how family-oriented their social media feeds are all the time). Let’s take a look!

Ripa was the first to post on Instagram, sharing two pictures: one of Lola pinning a boutonniere on boyfriend Tarek Fahmy, and one of Lola smiling next to Ripa herself. The caption reads: “It only took 20 hours, but we finally got two approved prom photos. #prom 2019 love you @tar3kfahmy and @theyoungestyung.” It’s wonderful to see that Ripa is close with her daughter’s boyfriend (or close enough to tell him she loves him on Instagram anyway), and to know that even celebrity kids give their parents a hard time about taking prom photos. As usual, it seems like Ripa has a sweet and joking rapport with her kids — and once again, can we just mention how gorgeous Lola looks?!

Consuelos, in his typical Instagram style, is a little less effusive and a little more sentimental. “My girls,” he writes, adding some heart emojis and a prom hashtag. He shared the same photo of Ripa and Lola that his wife shared (seems like she wasn’t lying about there only being two approved photos!), and both parents’ posts were flooded with comments about how beautiful Lola looks — and what a dead ringer she is for both her parents. When your parents are Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, that’s not a bad compliment to get.
