Kelly Ripa wishes her 'sexy' husband Mark Consuelos a happy 51st birthday: ‘My forever heart and soul’

Kelly Ripa is wishing her husband Mark Consuelos a very happy birthday.

The talk show host took to Instagram on March 30 to wish Consuelos, who recently wrapped up his time on Riverdale, a special day. Sharing a sepia tone photo of the star, Ripa wrote, “Happy birthday @instasuelos my forever heart and soul. I’m so grateful we found each other. I love you more every day.”

Followers shared lots of love for Ripa and Consuelos in the comments section. One follower wrote, “You are so blessed to have found each other and to continue to love each other like you do! I love looking up to the both of you!” Another added, “Happy Birthday to your husband!! You two are lucky to have each other.”

Lisa Rinna also weighed in, writing, "Happy Birthday To The Zaddy!!!!!!!!!" and Joel McHale joked, "I love him too but I don’t think he needs to hide his clavicle anymore."

Ripa also shared more photos of Consuelos to her Instagram Story, including one of the two kissing on a beach she captioned, "Happy birthday sexy." Other photos feature the stars with their kids — Michael, 24, Lola, 20 and Joaquin, 19.

Consuelos also received a birthday tribute on Instagram from his work wife, Marisol Nichols, who portrayed his spouse Hermione Lodge on Riverdale. She wrote, “Happy birthday to one of my favorite costars who managed to be not only a consummate actor but also a goofy, fun loving and amazing guy. Happy bday @instasuelos.”

Ripa commented on the post, “Still my favorite onscreen couple.”

Consuelos and Ripa, who previously worked together on All My Children, are no strangers to gushing over one another on Instagram — birthday or not. In December 2021, he posted a photo of him and the Hope & Faith alum looking dolled up, along with the caption, “Table for 2. Date night with my fave.”

Despite their many romantic posts, Ripa has reminded fans in the past that relationships are still hard work. In January 2020, Ripa shared her advice for keeping her marriage strong on her talk show Live With Kelly and Ryan.

“You’re going to fight, you’re going to have disagreements. Relationships, marriages are not sprints; it’s a marathon,” she explained at the time. “There’s going to be like, mile 24, when you’re like, ‘I quit.’ But you just got to push through. Just push through.”
