Good genes clearly run in this family, and they stretch back generations! On Friday, Kelly Ripa shared throwback photos of Mark Consuelos’ mom, Camilla Consuelos — and, hello, Lola Consuelos is young Camilla’s lookalike. We already know the couple’s sons Michael and Joaquin are their dad’s little doppelgangers, and now we know who Lola takes after. Hey, there are worse fates in life than to resemble your gorgeous Italian grandmother, right?
If you tune into Live with Kelly and Ryan, you’re probably pretty familiar with Camilla’s name. Kelly often alludes to her mother-in-law. She once told the story of how, each year, the family makes Camilla’s special lemon strawberry cake for Mark’s birthday since it’s his favorite. Kelly has also shared other recipes of Camilla’s, like the Italian matriarch’s Bolognese sauce. We have a sneaking suspicion these women may have bonded over food.

Either way, it’s clear they’re close now. Ripa shared a string of vintage photos on Instagram yesterday to celebrate Camilla’s birthday. “Happy birthday to the best mother-in-law in the world!” Ripa captioned a black-and-white portrait. Subsequent photos speak to how Camilla is “always chic” and show her as a wife, mother, world traveler, “cake baker/party maker,” and “world’s best Nonna.” Of course, Mark’s father Saul Consuelos makes frequent cameos in the throwback snapshots.
Sweet, right? This relationship is #inlawgoals. But, seriously, how much does Lola look like her grandmother?! Here’s a little side-by-side shot for comparison.
Judging by Ripa’s heartfelt tribute to Camilla, we imagine she probably doesn’t mind comparisons being drawn between her daughter and her oh-so-chic mother-in-law.
We’re just wondering if maybe Lola takes after her grandma in behavior, too. Ripa’s birthday tribute to Camilla included snapshots of the birthday girl dancing up a storm with Mark, and Camilla was right there cheering her on. Not only do these two look alike, but they also look like they have a lot of fun together.
