Kelly Ripa Just Pulled The Ultimate Mom Move With This Sweet TBT Of Daughter Lola

It’s that time of year when school starts up again. And, for parents of older kids, that can mean sending a child off to college—a huge and emotional process. Well, Kelly Ripa is apparently going through it with her daughter, Lola Consuelos, and she's having all the feels.

Lola starts her first semester at New York University this fall, and Kelly is understandably sentimental about the whole thing. Kelly commemorated the event by sharing a #TBT post on Instagram of Lola being christened in 2001. In the photo, Kelly and husband Mark Consuelos look lovingly at Lola, who was a newborn at the time. The photo is so, so sweet, but what Kelly wrote in the caption might (read: totally will) make you tear up.

"#tbt 2001 from your Christening to college," she wrote. "In the blink of an eye. I’m not crying. You’re crying (actually Daddy’s sobbing)."

Other parents were feeling Kelly’s pain. "I’m sobbing!!!!!!" wrote Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna.

"Wow. My son is 7 today he asked if he could go by Brad instead of Bradley and I cried. What am I going to do when he goes to college," one person wrote. Another said: "Crap, now I’m crying! And I don’t even know you people!"

This isn’t the first time Kelly has had a child leave home. Her son Michael is 22 and also went to NYU. (She and Mark also have another son, Joaquin, who is in high school.)

And Kelly has been posting a lot about Lola lately. She shared a few snapshots of her daughter on Instagram with the caption “middle child vibes” earlier this month. The proud mama also shared a picture of Lola’s graduation in June and photos from her prom.

Kelly later revealed on Live with Kelly and Ryan that Lola made alterations to her prom dress “behind [their] backs,” saying “that’s why the girls are fully on display,” but she laughed the whole thing off.

No word on when Lola ~officially~ leaves for school, but it’s clearly going to be emotional AF for this sweet fam.
