  • Kelly Ripa is celebrating Mother's Day in a unique way this year, posting side-by-side photos from almost 20 years ago.

  • The star was totally bare-faced in the pics, with no makeup on, and she was totally glowing.

  • Kelly's skincare routine is pretty intense, and she works hard to make sure she takes proper care of her skin.

Kelly Ripa regularly posts about her kids on Instagram, but there’s one throwback photo she’s shared a few times that’s seriously hilarious. In the pic, an exhausted-looking Kelly holds her son, Joaquin, on the beach as her other kids, Michael and Lola, crowd around. Well, Kelly just recreated that same pic with her kids—who are all now adults—and it’s kind of everything.

The new photo features Kelly sitting on a beach with Joaquin, who is now 20, on her lap as Michael and Lola hang nearby. Kelly, 52, is makeup-free and giving the camera that same look.

“Objects in this recreation photo are bigger than they appear 👀 #Throwback #HappyMothersDay #ThenVsNow,” she joked in the caption. People totally lost it in the comments. “The face is exactly the same😂,” one wrote. “You look like a teenage mom in this photo, priceless expression🥂,” another said.

If Kelly's glowing complexion has you curious to learn more about her skincare routines, you're *definitely* not alone. Kelly’s skin has always been impressively clear and dewy—and she’s made it clear she works hard to keep her skin healthy. Luckily, she’s shared little tidbits about her routines for the rest of us to read about.

“In the morning, when I shower, I just use my Dove white bar soap,” she recently shared with Glamour. “Then I use these brightening cleansing pads that I’m really into right now, the Rodial Vit C cleansing pads.” (The pads feature fruit AHA acids to exfoliate and rejuvenate skin, along salicylic acid for firming and toning.)

Kelly also told Prevention that she likes to do dry brushing for her skin first thing. “Your skin is such a huge organ,” she said. “I do a good vigorous brush of my entire body. I brush up towards my heart and down towards my hands.” She follows that with a facial massage. “I take a big bowl of ice and I put my jade face roller, my two rose quartz face rollers, and my Jillian Dempsey Gold Sculpting Bar all on ice,” she said. “While they’re cooling, I moisturize my skin, and then I roll.”

In an interview with NY Mag, Kelly shared that she’s big into the Uma Oils Absolute Anti-Aging Face Oil. “I guess this is my anti-aging secret—this and Botox, if we’re being honest,” she said. “I apply it first thing in the morning when I’m fresh out of the shower, and then right before I go to bed. And when I wake up in the morning, my skin still feels moisturized.”

Sunscreen is a must, too, reaching for La Roche-Posay Anthelios Tinted Mineral Ultra-Light Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 50. “What I like about this sunscreen, first of all, is that it’s full-coverage,” she told NY Mag. “It’s that broad-spectrum, UVA-UVB and whatnot sunscreen, but it’s tinted in a way that sort of makes you look sun-kissed and not a weird color.”

At night, Kelly will choose between three cleansers. “I have three that I really, really like,” she told Glamour. “I love Tracie Martyn's cleanser so much. It smells amazing and does a great job. I also love the Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser. That one's incredible. And then there's this one that I got in a swag bag that I keep using because it's really, really good. It's the Ingredients Face Cleanser.”

Kelly decided to start getting Botox around the time she turned 40, per Glamour. “It was a life-changing experience,” she said. “I'm not saying it's for everyone, but it was divine for me. I did not understand that so many people around me were getting Botox—I just thought I was aging in dog years and nobody else was.”

On the food front, Kelly has been open about following an alkaline diet. She even said on Live With Kelly and Ryan that the diet, which promotes foods that supposedly work to keep your body's pH levels low, “has changed my life. I swear I think it's responsible for me not being in pain.”

Kelly Ripa, everyone!
