Kelly Ripa Gets Makeover from Daughter Lola Consuelos on ‘Live’

Remember in the movie Clueless when Cher and Dionne decided to give Tai, the new student at Beverly Hills High, a total makeover? Well, it appears daytime talk show host Kelly Ripa, 52, has just received the same treatment during a recent segment on Live with Kelly and Mark. But, instead of getting a makeover from two friends, Ripa’s new look was created by her daughter, Lola Consuelos, 21.

On Tuesday’s episode, Ripa and her daughter took part in the viral “Turning My Mom into Me” TikTok trend.

In a new video shared on the official Live Instagram page, Lola (over video chat) explained how she was tasked with making her mother look exactly like her.

“Today is probably one of the best days of my life,” she says in the vid. “I get to dress my mother like me. You don’t understand, I’ve been waiting for this day [since I was] probably born. I absolutely adore her style.”

For her new look, Lola wanted her to pick out a stylish outfit that makes Ripa step outside of her “comfort zone” and allows her to feel confident.

In the middle of the clip, we can see Ripa standing in her daughter’s bedroom with a nervous look on her face, staring down at the clothes Lola has chosen for her—and we can’t help but admire the Live Wire author’s honest response to the selection.

“You know me, I feel like it’s a little youthful. But, I’ll give it a go,” Ripa says with a thumbs up.

Ripa’s hubby and co-host, Mark Consuelos, 52, gives a sweet reaction to the final look. “You look great,” he says while smiling widely at his wife. “Thank you so much for doing this, Lola.”
